'Sid & Barry' is an experimental short film that explores the themes of life, death and rebirth and is the end result of Quek's RM 75,000 winning production grant achieved when he won the BMW Shorties competition in 2011 for his film 'Guang.'

The invisible monster is a film that reminds us on the value of time, memory and love. Time heals all wounds but for Bert and Trish, it’s a different story. Their paths cross in an indescribable event and together they face their past and fears as their story unfolds. But is time really on their side?Things that you don’t see are the ones that kill.

Written, directed, shot, edited and even starring the film maker, Michael Tay, this one man production is about a film maker's attempt to make a short film in order to find closure with a dearly departed.
